„Wir haben seit der Bekanntgabe unserer strategischen Neuorientierung am 29. Juli alles versucht, um eine schnelle Einigung ĂĽber einen Verkauf des Teams am Standort Hinwil zu erzielen. Dies ist leider trotz aller Anstrengungen erfolglos geblieben. Der uns vorgegebene enge Zeitrahmen hat nicht ausgereicht, um mit den Interessenten und Investoren eine Lösung fĂĽr solch eine komplexe Transaktion zu finden. Das bedeutet, dass das Team das Concorde Agreement zunächst nicht unterschreiben kann. Ziel ist es nun, in den kommenden Wochen mit potentiellen Interessenten und Peter Sauber eine Lösung zu finden. DarĂĽber hinaus werden wir die Saison 2009 sportlich mit maximalem Einsatz zu Ende fahren.“

Regrettably, despite every effort, this has proved unsuccessful. The tight timeframe we faced simply did not allow us and the interested parties and investors enough time to find a solution for such a complex transaction. This means the team cannot sign the Concorde Agreement at present. The aim now is, over the coming weeks, to find a solution together with potential interested parties and Peter Sauber. Beyond that, we will see the 2009 season through to its conclusion with our unstinting sporting commitment.“
